Looking for a pet safe essential oil blend that will make your house smell great and support respiratory health?

We've got a great one for you: Exhale™ by animalEO was created for water based diffusion and it smells wonderful!

This is also a great blend to safely diffuse around animals with respiratory issues such as Kennel Cough (Bordetella), Canine Flu, Bacterial Pneumonia, Aspiration Pneumonia, Bronchitis, Lung Cancer, Collapsing Trachea, Fungal Infections (Valley Fever (Coccidiomycosis), Blastomycosis, Histoplasmosis, Cryptococcus, Aspergillosis...), viral infections, and more.

Exhale will offer support.  Regular diffusion of Exhale within shelters, veterinary clinics, boarding facilities, training facilities, and anywhere that dogs will co-mingle - could help to stop the spread of contagions - along with providing a very pleasant smell for the area.

 How To Use Exhale™

For normal use and to just make your house smell great, we recommend 1-3 drops in 100 mL in a water based diffuser.

In acute respiratory situations, you may want to diffuse in a small room or next do your dog. You will want to diffuse for at least 20 minutes - but can diffuse longer if they seem to have more comfort from longer diffusion.

Of course, in acute respiratory situations, monitor carefully and do not overwhelm your dog.

You can diffuse between 1-3 times a day.

Note: This blend is for water-based diffusion and is not recommended topically or in a mist.

Ingredients

Essential Oils of Lemongrass (Cymbopogon flexuosus), Lemon Basil (Ocimum citriodorum), Melissa (Melissa officinalis), Copaiba (Copaifera officinalis), Cinnamon Leaf (Cinnomomum zeylanica), Frankincense (Boswellia carterii), Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus)

Lemongrass: Known as a powerful an antibacterial and anti-fungal, it is great for cleansing the air, prevention of mold/fungus (in the home, in the air, and supports respiratory issues. Lemongrass is reported to help regeneration of connective tissue and ligaments (helpful for things like collapsing trachea), improve circulation (needed for all healing to occur), helps with fluid retention, edema, and lymph flow, and is a common oil recommended for resistant bacterial infections.

Lemon basil: A sweet basil, it has a wonderful scent. Known for its anti-histamine effects, anti-spasmodic, and muscle relaxing effects. A dog with a  spasmodic cough or tightened chest will benefit.

Melissa: Reported to support histamine related issues, viruses, neurologic issues, depression, grief, anxiety, itching, hives, nerve pain, shingles, and seizures.

Copaiba: A strong anti-inflammatory agent known to be helpful for broncho-pulmonary infections and reduce inflammation.

Cinnamon Leaf: A nice scent with analgesic actions similar to Clove. Great for raspy, irritated, inflamed sinuses, trachea, or respiratory tissues.

Frankincense: Included especially for anti-tumoral benefits, Frankincense is also known to be anti-catarrhal (clears mucus), an expectorant, immune-stimulating, and is indicated for conditions such as bronchitis, asthma, cancers, and immune deficiencies. Frankincense also acts as a magnifying essential oil, which allows a more powerful effect of all oils used, even when in lower amounts.

Eucalyptus: A wonderful oil for any respiratory concern, it is known to have anti-infectious, antibacterial, anti-viral, anti-catarrhal (gets rid of excess mucus), expectorant, and anti-inflammatory actions.  It is indicated for all sorts of conditions including rhinitis (inflammation of the nasal cavities), pharyngitis (inflammation of the tissues associated with the throat, vocal tissues, and oral areas associated with the respiratory tract), sinusitis (inflammation of the sinuses), conjunctivitis (inflammation of the delicate tissues around the eyes - which are often affected with upper respiratory conditions), and bronchitis!

Smells good

I have a sick feral that I’m caring for. His nose drips thick snot and his eyes are swollen and runny. I run this through a diffuser a couple times a day and he looks better after just a few days.

Wonderful Oil

I use my diffuser and oils from 4-legger each night when I go to bed. This one has very relaxing scents and I like the medicinal properties. The first one I tried was Gingerbread Doghouse and Exhale is a nice alternative. I know these are safe for me and my pets.
