You can spray, dip, or rub the ACV rinse on your dog's feet being sure you get between the pads where yeast likes to hide.
We recommend doing a 24 hour "spot test" by spraying a small area on your dog and monitor for any redness.
We've not found a dog yet that is sensitive but just like humans, dog's can have sensitivities and we prefer to be overly cautious.
This product is for external use only.
My husband and I have used this conditioning rinse for our dog (Taylor, 11 years old) for about a year. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing that the ingredients are organic...and can be easily read directly off the bottle! It rinses off soooo easily! And the ingredients are very gentle on Taylor's senior dog skin!
Because it is a spray, I use it (on GSDs) down their neck and spine and rub in well/rinse. It's def not set up to use all over on heavy coated or large breeds. I also have a long coat husky (!!!) and although I use the 4 legger shampoo on her, I do use a standard dog conditioner on her because of her coat thickness and mass. Using this conditioner down GSDs spines gives them that softness where I pet them and gives them an extra layer of natural scent. I would continue to purchase it.
The rinse conditions nicely, have not seen less itching yet. The spray trigger was not good. The sprayer barely let out a stream and stopped working in a week.
I tried spraying this on our golden retrievers, it seem like it would take a lot of this product to cover the entire dog since it does not foam up and it is watery so its hard to know where or how saturated it is. Maybe for just spot treating feet it would be better. I don't think I will buy this again
I'm a true believer of ACV for inside and outside of bodies (mine included). This was easy to apply. Used my hands, because my dogs hate being sprayed. My papillon came out soft and clean. LOVE THIS product!
