My pup was in a bad way despite medical care from our vet. And you should see your vet because the root cause of yeast infections need to be determined so you can find out how to manage (hopefully-STOP) reoccurrence forever.
That being said, this shampoo and conditioner are so important to get the skin and hair into great condition and stop their discomfort; itching, chewing and the exhaustion your pup puts into trying to deal with their discomfort! My dog’s skin started to markedly improve after the third bath. The dry, black ‘elephant skin began to soften and be less itchy. His skin started to turn back to normal color and feel. He was no longer maniacally chewing his paws or falling over trying to scratch hard to reach areas he could not reach. He could sleep through the night! His coat is beautiful. His skin is soft and supple.
Few good things happen overnight. You have to stay with it. With Briggs ( Thats MeFurLegger) we are in the process of of removing toxins in foods that could be the underlying cause of the recurring condition. And when we get that in order I will still be ever-grateful for the relief these products gave Brigg’s (and me!). Hopefully we can transition to the Lemongrass shampoo in time but I will always use the Restore Organic Apple Cider Vinegar Conditioner.

This dog shampoo is simply the best. You don't need a lot, it lathers easily, and the best part is how quickly and thoroughly it rinses out of dog fur. No residue. I highly recommend it.

This is by far the best shampoo I have ever used. I use it on myself as well as my dogs. It lathers beautifully and cleans well while leaving my hair (or dog fur) soft and manageable. It is also non toxic which is difficult to find. Thank you for producing this wonderful shampoo!

My pit bull has severe skin allergies in Florida and bathing her with this once a week in combination with apoquel keeps them at bay. (Disclaimer: neither apoquel alone nor the shampoo alone have been able to control her allergies so it does have to be a combination in my case)

I found the 4-Legger website in my research to help my 5 yr Westie who has suffered from allergies, bacterial and yeast issues for the last 2 years. We took him to the vet regularly and did numerous rounds of; Apoquel, Simplicef, Ketoconazole, Cytopoint shots, prescription dog food and weekly antimicrobial/anti-fungal bathes that left his skin scaly, inflamed itchy and dry. He was still miserable. I transitioned him off prescription food, and onto a freeze dried food of good quality for ‘dogs with sensitive digestive issues’ using unique proteins and ingredients.
That was a big game changer for him. As he was getting better on his new food , it took awhile to soothe his inflamed skin to a healthy state; and that’s when I found 4-Legger and Melissa.
