What is Coconut Oil?
Coconut oil is extracted from the kernel (meat) of coconuts harvested from the coconut tree, a palm.  

The oil itself has a deep scent of pure coconut pulp and is renowned for its nutritional properties.

Coconut Oil is predominantly composed of saturated fatty acids (about 94%), with a good percentage (above 62%) of Medium Chain Fatty Acids. It is also packed full of Vitamin E - a powerful antioxidant that drives oxygenated blood to the skin for healthy skin and fur! 

How does Coconut Oil work? 
Coconut oil is a extremely hydrating, a great moisturizer and helps to provide a protective layer, retaining moisture in the skin while allowing the skin to breathe. As a mild oil, it is very good for use with inflamed and irritated skin, or dogs with skin sensitivities.
